Spiedies the HOTS Way
A Broome County delicacy dating back to the early 1900s, the Spiedie was originally introduced to the Binghamton area by Italian immigrants. Their recipe called for lamb to be cubed and marinated in a combination of olive oil, vinegar, lemon, mint, garlic & other spices. The Spiedie has since evolved, and there are now countless recipes using various types of meats and marinades.
At HOTS, we hand cut fresh chicken breast and marinate it for several days in Lupo’s Spiedie marinade. Our Chicken Spiedies are delicious on subs, in a wrap, on top of one of our green salads, or just about any way you like them!
